Murph put a service ticket in yesterday. We do apologize for the downtime. There is nothing more that he could do beyond wait for them to answer his ticket.

This is what I got from them:

" Hello Joseph,

Unfortunately the IP address that your service is hosted on has been Null routed due to a large DDoS attack. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this but it was necessary to null route the IP address to stop the attack from effecting other servers and clients in this data center. Your service will return to normal once the attack has either been mitigated/filtered or stopped. We thank you for your patience in this matter and rest assured we are working as hard as possible to restore service to this IP address.

I'd tell them to assign you a new IP or refund your remaining funds. As a hosting provider, temporary outages are one things. But if they can't drop in new IP's for things like this so that you can get going again, then they shouldn't be in the buisness. Joe Blow down the road, doing his own home thing might not be able to get IP's left and right. But a hosting provider who doesn't have that ability needs to quit the business immediately.

This new server has issues. Metal parts are rare, like airdrop only rare.

Same for the silencer.

And the /kits no longer work.

Metal parts are supposed to be rare. As far as I can tell, they are the same as all other servers that I've been on. I've found some, but they aren't common by any means. Same with the Silencer. They are generally a rare find. A bit easier than metal parts, but not anything close to as easy as finding the others. What I'm seeing, matches every server that I've been on for these things.

/kits is fixed now.

What I am seeing though, is research kits are extremely common. Far more than they should be. I can get four or five of them in one run through a given town. That's a problem.
